The season gets going Sept. 3 with a lengthy list of openers, featuring South Carolina and North Carolina meeting in Charlotte, Harbaugh’s Michigan debut at Utah, and TCU, one of the preseason favorites to dethrone the defending national champion Buckeyes, playing at Big Ten member Minnesota.
