Updated Aug 27, 2015 at 7:24p ET The Gophers found out the dates and locations of their 18 games against conference opponents on Thursday, as the Big Ten released the men’s basketball conference schedule. Minnesota’s conference opener is on the road against Ohio State on Dec. 30. The Gophers’ Big Ten home opener is a few days later on Jan. 2 against Michigan State, a 2015 Final Four participant that Minnesota defeated on the road in its only matchup against the Spartans last year. The Gophers only have one two-game road trip in the conference season, playing at Indiana on Jan. 30 and then Northwestern on Feb. 4. Two of their final three contests are on the road, including Feb. 28 at Illinois, the first time they travel to Urbana-Champaign in three years. The last home game is against rival Wisconsin on March 2, and the regular-season finale is March 5 at Rutgers.
