Cardale Jones. J.T. Barrett. Who’s going to start for The Ohio State Buckeyes as the Scarlet and Gray begin their title defense of the College Football Playoff national title? Anyone and everyone has an opinion–and it might be moot. Sure, we as fans love debate. It’s what keeps sites such as the Factory of Sadness thriving. But when it comes to figuring out who will be the quarterback for the Buckeyes this season, there’s probably two right answers. In Scarlet and Gray Days, which is airing on the Big Ten network, Urban Meyer said something very intriguing: “I’m not even sure how we’re going to do it. We may play two this year.” Technically, somebody has to take the first snap for the Buckeyes when Ohio State opens the season against Virginia Tech, but it’s really not out of the realm of possibility for Meyer to give both players significant playing time.
