Ohio State quarterback Cardale Jones released from hospital

Cardale Jones has been released from the hospital. Ohio State confirmed the news that Jones had to be hospitalized Wednesday evening, but he has since been treated and released. “Cardale Jones was examined last night at the OSU Wexner Medical Center,” read a statement from the school. “He was released from the center following the examination and he is doing fine today.” According to multiple reports, including from family members on social media, Jones was being treated for a severe migraine. Jones and the Buckeyes open their season against Virginia Tech on Monday night. He was expected to split time with quarterback J.T. Barrett, though his status may need to be updated by coach Urban Meyer on Thursday. Cardale Jones had to be hospitalized for reportedly a migraine headache. (USATSI)
