Cardale Jones Avoids Rush, Throws 24-Yard TD Pass to Curtis Samuel off Back Foot

With Ronda Rousey behind him, Ohio State quarterback Cardale Jones got the start against Virginia Tech on Monday night.

Looks like that was the right call.
After getting robbed of an earlier touchdown, Jones dropped back and avoided pressure on a 1st-and-10 from the 24-yard line before launching a bomb to the end zone off his back foot.

Wide receiver Curtis Samuel made a nice play on the ball, but Jones’ sheer arm strength is the star of this show.
