CFB AM: Ezekiel Elliott will seek and destroy every last Hokie

Updated Sep 7, 2015 at 11:54a ET Finally, after months and months of speculation, we will find out tonight who Ohio State’s starting quarterback is and how the playing time will be split up between J.T. Barrett and Cardale Jones as the No. 1 Buckeyes visit Virginia Tech. But really, it may not matter at all who’s under center for Ohio State. Why? Because Ezekiel Elliott is in the backfield, and he’s clearly coming to Lane Stadium to destroy every last bit of the Hokies. Look at this picture from his Twitter feed on Sunday: Does that look like a dude who’s out here playing GAMES? I like to assume Elliott spent all of Sunday in the cryotherapy chamber (I know that’s impossible and you might freeze to death, but I don’t consider Elliott to be human) watching every snap of last year’s loss to VT on a loop, a game in which Elliott was held to 32 yards on eight carries.
