Taylor Swift is in Columbus, Ohio, this Thursday and Friday for concerts at Nationwide Arena. Ohio State Buckeyes running back Ezekiel Elliott is using this as an icebreaker to score a date with the superstar.
Elliott tweeted at Swift in hopes she would get dinner with him.
After an hour went by (and no response), the RB tweeted at her again, suggesting Hyde Park was a better place to meet.
This isn’t the first time an Ohio State player has tried to reach out to his crush. Buckeyes QB Cardale Jones openly confessed his love for UFC star Ronda Rousey a few months ago.
Elliott now has to shift his focus to football, as the Buckeyes host the Northern Illinois Huskies this Saturday.
