Ohio State 34, Indiana 27: Five things we learned

Cardale Jones isn’t making this any easier for Urban Meyer, so the question persists: Who is the best QB for Ohio State? Jones played fairly well against Indiana, going 18 for 27 with 245 yards and a touchdown and an interception, but he played second fiddle to Ezekiel Elliott in a game that turned into a shootout. Meanwhile, J.T. Barrett patrols the sideline, waiting for his chance to show why he was a Heisman frontrunner a year ago. But in his few snaps, he’s underwhelmed: 21 passes for 198 yards, two touchdowns and two interceptions. The two have combined for just six touchdown passes and six interceptions this year. That won’t cut it. Meyer has to find a way to light a fire under center, and fast.
