The scarlet and gray combination has become iconic for Ohio State. But for the first time ever, the Buckeyes are going for a darker look for their Oct. 17 game against Penn State. Nike and Ohio State unveiled new all-black uniforms Saturday on Twitter. The uniforms still have touches of the Buckeyes’ traditional color scheme with the bold scarlet numbers outlined in gray.
