Oklahoma football: Ohio State ties Sooners’ record for weeks at the top

Ohio State tied Oklahoma’s record for most weeks spent at No. 1 in the AP Top 25 with 101 Sunday. It was the Buckeyes’ seventh-consecutive poll in the top spot, dating back to the final AP ranking of 2014. Oklahoma, on the other hand, cracked the top 10 for the first time since Oct. 4, 2014 — a year ago. The Sooners fell from No. 4 to No. 11 after a loss at TCU, their first of five on the season. Now No. 10 OU is trying to climb the rankings once more.
