Michigan working on flipping Ohio State RB recruit

Updated Oct 13, 2015 at 3:58p ET Could Jim Harbaugh be working on a  win against both of his biggest rivals this week?  While the Wolverines prepare to play host to Michigan State on Saturday, Michigan fans on the Internet are buzzing at the thought of stealing a recruit from Ohio State after Scout.com five-star running back Kareem Walker visited Ann Arbor last weekend.  Walker, a 6-foot, 210-pounder from De Paul Catholic in Wayne, N.J., is ranked the No. 2 running back in the country, and he released a statement via ESPN following the weekend trip indicating he is not done taking visits.  Walker committed to Ohio State during the national championship game in January, but Michigan has made a strong push in New Jersey recently.  Former coach Brady Hoke signed five-star Jabrill Peppers out of Paramus Catholic two years ago, and he is one of six New Jersey natives on the current roster.  Harbaugh, who replaced Hoke in December, has since hired former Paramus Catholic coach Chris Partridge as a staff member.  Rashan Gary, a defensive tackle from Paramus Catholic rated the No. 1 overall player in the country for 2016, is also among Michigan’s targets.
