LeBron shares his thoughts on Ohio State quarterbacks

LeBron James has a lot to smile about as a new NBA season nears. Andrew Weber / USA Today Sports Urban Meyer admitted earlier this week he has gotten tired of hearing the opinions of the Buckeye faithful regarding the Ohio State quarterback situation.  But what about fans who are four-time MVPs of the NBA?  LeBron James was in Columbus with the Cleveland Cavaliers this week for an exhibition game, and after telling reporters he frequently speaks with Meyer, the Ohio native heaped praise on all three of the current Buckeyes who have experience playing quarterback for the Scarlet and Gray: Cardale Jones, J.T. Barrett and Braxton Miller.  “They all do a great job,” said James, who was an all-state football player at Akron St. Vincent-St.Mary. “I think Cardale is going to continue to get better with every game, with every practice, and he’s been playing well this year so far, but they have so many things that they can go to if need be.”  James, arguably one of the most-second-guessed athletes in the world despite all his success, also hinted he knows what Meyer is going through as the Buckeyes remain ranked No. 1 but have been the subject of criticism for not consistently dominating recent opponents.  “Coach (Meyer) has all that talent, but talent doesn’t always win games,” James said. “It’s how they prepare, and Coach prepares them the right way.” (H/T ESPN.com)
