The winner claims a stake to the Greater Catholic League South division title with St. Xavier. “I want to see La Salle win,” Burger told Cincinnati.com Tuesday morning. “It’s nice to go back and see guys in the community.” Burger, 2012 La Salle graduate, said the top-ranked Buckeyes (8-0) are in an excellent position entering the bye week. Like his teammates, Burger is looking forward to some rest mentally and physically this week. He will spend the weekend in the area and eat dinner with his family Sunday night before returning to Columbus. “(The season) is going really fast,” he said. “I can’t believe we are (almost) in November.
