Ohio State is ranked third in the College Football Playoff initial rankings with Michigan State seventh and Iowa ninth. The Buckeyes and Spartans play a rigorous enough schedule down the stretch — namely because they play each other — that they don’t have to worry about rising/remaining in the top four.
