That does not mean he’s above having his mother critique what he does on the field, though. When Lee was rocked by a blind-side block in the first half of Ohio State’s game at Illinois on Saturday, his mother, Candice, got some laughs on social media with a tweet indicating she wasn’t too concerned about him. After being attended to for a few minutes, Lee walked off the field. He returned after one play, though, so apparently once again we need to all remember mother knows best.
