Green is now doubling down, so to speak. Through the Bleacher Report video platform “Uninterrupted,” Green donned a Michigan State helmet and football jersey and addressed the masses. The pivotal forward for the still-undefeated and defending NBA champion Golden State Warriors is “a Spartan fan, through and through” as the Spartans get ready to visit Columbus, Ohio, to take on Ohio State in a game that will shape the Big Ten East race, not to mention the College Football Playoff. “Been through a lot of injuries and we’re still standing here 9-1, about to make this playoff push” Green said. “So I’m excited about it. Those Buckeyes better get ready for what’s coming to town because they don’t know what’s about to hit them.” But then, Green called out his fellow NBA football-lover on the opposite rooting side of today’s game. “I’m calling out LeBron, a big Buckeye fan,” Green said. “There’s gotta be a wager or something.” The video was posted on Friday.
