Ohio State football: Ezekiel Elliott questions Buckeyes coaches

Ohio State Buckeyes running back Ezekiel Elliott was so disgusted with his role in No. 3 Ohio State’s 17-14 loss to No. 9 Michigan State on Saturday in Columbus, Ohio, that he said afterward that it was his last game in Ohio Stadium.The junior questioned the coaching staff’s play calling after the Buckeyes managed only 132 total yards in a loss that ended their 23-game overall and 30-game Big Ten winning streaks. “Honestly, this is my last game in the Shoe,” Elliott said. “I mean, there’s no chance of me coming back next year. What happened today, it was kind of like a bad, bad dream. Offense had a rough day, and I’m disappointed. I’m disappointed in the play calling, I’m disappointed in the situations we were put in, and I wish it all played out differently.” Ohio State junior quarterback Cardale Jones also indicated on Twitter after the game that he won’t return next season. Jones did not play Saturday. Elliott curiously carried only 12 times for 33 yards and a touchdown in the Big Ten showdown between Top 10 teams, ending a streak of 15 games with 100 or more yards rushing.
