News flash: They won’t. Nicely played, Big Ten. Ohio State’s reputation that helped boost Michigan State, coupled with Iowa’s Big Ten East schedule, positioned the Big Ten for another playoff spot. The Michigan State-Iowa winner will be playing New Year’s Eve. That leaves two remaining playoff bids. They are Clemson’s and Alabama’s to lose.
