The line was as high as 8.5 in favor of Virginia earlier today, but that was before news broke that London Perrantes underwent an appendectomy earlier this week and will be out for today. There hasn’t been any official statement as to an expected return time. So Virginia will be without their starting point guard as an early season test against a Power 5 opponent. This is a great opportunity for Virginia to see how they might handle March, when players might be a little more beat up than they are in December. Tip is at 7:30 PM on ESPN.
