Rutgers to name Ohio State assistant Chris Ash head football coach, reports say

Ohio State co-defensive coordinator Chris Ash is set to be the next head football coach at Rutgers, according to multiple reports. Ash, 41, is in his second season on Urban Meyer’s Buckeyes staff. Prior to that, he was defensive coordinator under Bret Bielema at both Wisconsin and Arkansas. Ash replaces Kyle Flood, who was fired Nov. 29 after going 27-24 in four seasons. The Scarlet Knights went 4-8 in 2015, with Flood suspended three games for reasons.
