Ohio State’s Joey Bosa presents January challenge for Notre Dame

Notre Dame left tackle Ronnie Stanley and Ohio State defensive lineman Joey Bosa are both All-Americans. Both are projected top-15 picks for the 2016 NFL draft. Stanley will try to slow down Bosa when the Irish play the Buckeyes in the Fiesta Bowl on New Year’s Day in Glendale, Ariz. “You have to look at it (like) you’re preparing yourself for the next level,” Stanley said. “This game is definitely an opportunity for me to take advantage and really showcase my skills and me being a top tackle.” Stanley recently confirmed he intends to enter the draft. Bosa hasn’t publicly announced his decision, but he is projected as the No. 1 pick on several draft boards. “I’m pretty excited about this matchup,” Bosa said. “Two great teams with great traditions. It’ll be a fun matchup with all of the talent both teams have.” Stanley earned consensus All-American honors this season.
