National Signing Day: North Ridgeville’s McCall commits to Ohio State

Ziegler/Fox 8 News) CLEVELAND– National Signing Day got off to a great start on Wednesday for the Ohio State Buckeyes as North Ridgeville’s Demario McCall signed his letter of intent to continue his playing career with Urban Meyer. McCall becomes the first football player from North Ridgeville to sign a letter of intent at a Division I school in 10 years. He also becomes the first Ranger to ever sign a letter of intent with the Ohio State University. “It’s my dad’s favorite school, it’s my favorite school, it’s my coach’s favorite school. Being able to do this and get that feeling that I actually get to go to Ohio State, it’s one of the greatest feelings ever,” McCall said. “It’s one of the greatest feelings ever.” OSU had a few other commits from Northeast Ohio, including Kierre Hawkins, of Maple Heights; Jack Wohlabaugh, of Stow; and Luke Farrell, of Perry.
