Ohio State Basketball: Where Is The Team Headed?

The Ohio State basketball team has issues they need to figure out. If they do not fix them soon, the Voice of the Fan sees the Buckeyes getting into a situation they will not want to be in. If you saw the Ohio State basketball team’s last game against the University of Wisconsin, you saw a brave effort that, as usual, this year came up short. Their offense seems to revolve around a lot of one on one break-downs and some occasional pick and rolls. At times, there was very little cutting or backdoor plays. The Ohio State’s use of the center position is lacking as their best center, Daniel Giddens, is usually in foul trouble. Ohio State really does not run much offense through that position. In fact, there is a large amount of time when the offense is stagnant and shots are taken in desperation. If the Buckeyes are not hitting their outside jumpers, they are pretty much toast. Ohio State’s defense is adequate at times.
