Former Crusader Garrett commits to Ohio State

Haskell Garrett Twitter Former Saint Louis football standout Haskell Garrett made his verbal pledge to play football at Ohio State University this morning, choosing the Buckeyes over offers from USC, Notre Dame, Oklahoma and Texas A&M among others. The 6’3? 290 lb. junior defensive tackle has played at Bishop Gorman (NV) high school since moving to Las Vegas following his freshman year with the Crusaders. Garrett is rated by scout.com as the 22nd overall player in the class of 2017, and the top defensive tackle on the West Coast. His pledge comes nearly a year before he can officially sign with the Buckeyes in February of 2017. Garrett and Bishop Gorman will play reigning Hawai’i state champion Kahuku September 17th in Las Vegas. Share this: Related Advertisement
