ShareTweetIt’s that time of the year where NFL Draft experts make their way out of their hiding place to entertain us lowlifes waiting like fiends for any type of new football information. Today, after making a strong appearance as the color commentator of the Senior Bowl a couple weeks ago, NFL Network’s Mike Mayock has released his first list of top five draft prospects at every position. In those rankings, eight former Buckeyes have graced Mayock’s best. Two guys have locked down his top player at a certain position. Joey Bosa, who is expected to be a top two pick in the draft, is ranked as Mayock’s top edge rusher. Former Buckeye and Eastern Kentucky standout Noah Spence, who was dismissed from Ohio State after multiple drug suspensions, is ranked second at the position. At running back, Ezekiel Elliott stands out as the best in the country, according to the NFL Network’s lead draft expert. That makes sense, considering his all-around talent at all aspects of his position. Derrick Henry ranks second on Mayock’s rankings. Michael Thomas, who many believe has the most potential of all the wide receivers in this draft class, ranks third behind Baylor’s Corey Coleman and Laquon Treadwell of Ole Miss. …
