Ohio State is sending 14 players to the NFL Combine, more than any other program

More than 300 players have been invited, including Heisman Trophy winner Alabama running back Derrick Henry, the nation’s best receiver and Biletnikoff Award winner Corey Coleman from Baylor, and Florida State defensive back Jalen Ramsey, who is predicted to “win” the combine. But what might be most astonishing is the amount of players invited from Ohio State. There are 14 Buckeyes heading to the Combine. That’s four more than the next program, which is Notre Dame at 10. Reigning national champion Alabama has nine. Here’s a chart of the top 10 teams from last season’s final Amway Coaches Poll ranking. Despite all the talent coming from Columbus, this team still didn’t go undefeated in 2015, losing to Michigan State and therefore missing the chance to make the College Football Playoff.
