Ohio State football: Fourteen Buckeyes headed to NFL Combine

There will be no shortage of Ohio State Buckeyes in Indianapolis Feb. 23-29. Fourteen players from the 2015 Ohio State football team — more than any other college football team — will take part in the annual NFL Scouting Combine at Lucas Oil Stadium. Notre Dame will have 10 participants, while reigning national champion Alabama will have nine. The combine brings executives, scouts, coaches and doctors from all 32 NFL teams to conduct physical tests and interviews for those expected to be among the top players selected in this year’s NFL draft, which will begin April 28. Advertisement Atop the list of Ohio State players at this year’s combine is defensive end Joey Bosa, considered a candidate to be taken by the Tennessee Titans with the No. 1 overall pick of this year’s NFL draft. Other Ohio State players participating in the combine are cornerback Eli Apple, safety Vonn Bell, offensive tackle Taylor Decker, running back Ezekiel Elliott, quarterback Cardale Jones, linebacker Darron Lee, receiver Jalin Marshall, linebacker Joshua Perry, receiver Braxton Miller, safety Tyvis Powell, receiver Michael Thomas, tight end Nick Vannett and defensive tackle Adolphus Washington.
