One thing about college football – with ever changing personnel and coaching staffs, it’s always a “next year will be our year” offseason, no matter which team of which you are a fan. Unfortunately, that’s just not going to be the case for some programs in 2016. There are teams who have made big changes, taken some steps in the right direction or have completely retooled themselves, but it’s not quite going to be enough for this season. 2017 could be a different story. That’s not to say that these programs won’t be good or have winning seasons, it’s just that the expectations of the fans (and even the players themselves) probably far exceed what will actually transpire this season. …
