Jim Harbaugh, Ezekiel Elliott trade jabs in Ohio State, Michigan rivalry

ANN ARBOR, Mich., March 23 (UPI) — Rampant rivalries don’t dry during an arid offseason. And one of the biggest rivalries in sports is live and well. After Ohio State athletic director Gene Smith took a shot at the Michigan football program, Wolverines head coach Jim Harbaugh punched back. Now former Buckeyes running back Ezekiel Elliott has joined the verbal food fight. Advertisement Michigan, who is holding spring break practice in Florida, was recently the subject of a Smith slant. “If we were jump starting our program, I’d probably try to do that too,” Smith told Bleacher Report’s Ben Axelrod.
