Duane Rankin/Montgomery Advertiser AUBURN – Jamel Dean says he holds no ill will toward Ohio State for declaring him medically ineligible after he signed with the Buckeyes program. Auburn’s defensive back is too busy feeling fortunate that his football career is still alive because of a second opinion on his knee by Dr. James Andrews, who happens to be Auburn’s team orthopedic surgeon. Ohio State declared Dean unable to play because of a knee injury at his initial physical when reporting as an early enrollee to the program. In the first time he’s spoken about the incident since arriving on Auburn’s campus last season, Dean said Saturday he won’t be holding any anger toward Ohio State or Buckeyes head coach Urban Meyer. “I don’t hold any grudges,” Dean said Saturday. The former Ohio State cornerback announced his intentions to transfer to Auburn in May 2015. Dean’s enrollment was delayed as he unsuccessfully attempted to appeal the NCAA transfer rule that forced him to sit out the 2015 season. In the meantime, Dean visited with Dr. Andrews and got a clean bill of health from Auburn’s team doctor…
