Ohio State basketball transfer visiting Alabama

Alabama coach Avery Johnson could be adding another big man to his frontcourt. Ohio State center Daniel Giddens visited Alabama on Monday, according to a report from ESPN’s Jeff Goodman. The former four-star recruit from Marietta, Ga., left Ohio State after one season with the program. The 6-foot-10 Giddens averaged 3.8 points and 3.6 rebounds in 18.2 minutes per game during his freshman season. Giddens was one of the top 50 players in the Class of 2015 and the No. 8 center in the country according to 247Sports Composite Rankings.
