Penn State Football: White Out Game vs. Ohio State Set for Primetime Clash

Penn State Football: Five Nittany Lions Selected, DL Dismissed From Team, and Other News by Barry Leonard Jr. In not much of a surprise, the Penn State Nittany Lions will host the Ohio State Buckeyes in a primetime clash set for 8:00 p.m. inside of Beaver Stadium. The game has also been designated as the annual Whiteout, meaning that the majority of the packed house will be decked out in white. This will mark the fifth straight year in which the Nittany Lions and Buckeyes meet under the lights in primetime. Penn State’s annual battle with Ohio State always brings a high ticket price and is one of the most anticipated games of the season. The last time Ohio State visited Penn State was during the 2014 season for the Whiteout. It was a thrilling 31-24 double-overtime victory by the Buckeyes. The Nittany Lions haven’t won a game in the series since a 20-14 victory in Columbus in 2011. The two teams met in Columbus for a primetime battle last season and the Buckeyes were victorious 38-10. Penn State has seven home games this season, but the clash with Ohio State is the only one with a kickoff time set as of now. …
