Ohio State basketball transfer back for second visit at Alabama

Ohio State transfer center Daniel Giddens is getting a second look at Alabama. The 6-foot-10 big man is back in Tuscaloosa, Ala., for an official visit with Avery Johnson and the men’s basketball program, according to a report from the Tuscaloosa News’ Cecil Hurt. Giddens originally visited Alabama a couple of weeks ago. The former four-star recruit from Marietta, Ga., left Ohio State after one season with the program. Giddens averaged 3.8 points and 3.6 rebounds in 18.2 minutes per game during his freshman season. Giddens was one of the top 50 players in the Class of 2015 and the No. 8 center in the country according to 247Sports’ composite rankings. He is also reportedly considering UGA, TCU and Pittsburgh, according to 247Sports.com.
