Oklahoma beating Ohio State, in any era, is cause for celebration. And 2016 is no different. On Sept. 10, the Buckeyes come to Owen Field. A showdown of college football powers. The seven-time national champ Sooners vs. the six-time national champ Buckeyes. Ohio State won the 2014 national championship. OU reached the 2015 national semifinals. Script Ohio vs. the Sooner Schooner. Urban Meyer vs. Bob Stoops. The kind of game that makes college football special. The kind of game that shines a light on Big 12 football. So much so, OU-Ohio State ranks No. 1 in our annual rankings of the 75 Big 12 games. Normally, a conference game ranks No. 1. And certainly, the Big 12 will have its share of showdowns in 2016.
