I will of course have plenty more throughout the night and tomorrow. 1) There have been plenty of rumblings lately when it comes to 5-star Grand Prairie (Texas) South Grand Prairie safety Jeffrey Okudah. Buckeye fans are wondering what is going on with Okudah and Oklahoma and why he hasn’t committed to Ohio State yet. Some Buckeye fans are getting very worried. I’ve continued to check with different sources and while I am not discounting the possibility of Okudah eventually picking Oklahoma, right now it is the Buckeyes that are in the best position. My gut feeling from everything I am told by my sources is that Okudah will be a Buckeye when all is said and done. Even my sources on the Oklahoma side of things feel that way – at least right now. Could things change? Sure, this is recruiting. But while Oklahoma has proximity in their favor and Okudah has some Sooner buddies, everything I am told says the Buckeyes have more going for them and Okudah and his mom like what Urban Meyer and the Ohio State football program are all about.
