Four Buckeyes named Sporting News Pre-Season All-Americans

The start of Fall Camp for football teams around the nation is just over a month away, which means more buzz and excitement leading up to the start of the college football season. Part of the hoopla leading up to kick-off comes in the form of pre-season award lists and honors, to which Sporting News released their pre-season All-American team today. Four Ohio State players earned honors from the publication, including two on the first team and two on the second team. Pat Elflein was named as the first team center on offense, as the veteran’s play at guard has earned him enough respect for experts to believe he’ll handle the transition to guard. Raekwon McMillan joined him on the first team at linebacker, as it is expected the junior-to-be is going to have a big year before departing early for the NFL. Buckeyes’ quarterback J.T.
