The 247Sports Composite coaching database for recruits doesn’t go as far back as some of the OSU coaches’ careers do, but in the time of its existence, the data shows that the current Buckeyes’ staff has reeled in some big time talent. Today, Bucknuts takes a look at each coach on the staff, and the highest-ranked recruit signed by said coach. Co-Offensive Coordinator/QBs Coach Tim Beck Beck’s highest-ranked commit is 2017 QB Tate Martell, but given that he hasn’t signed yet, he’s not the top dog for Beck just yet. Instead those honors go to 2016 QB signee Dwayne Haskins, who Beck was technically the secondary recruiter for (Larry Johnson), but played a very important role in landing. Haskins was rated as a 4-star, the No. 88 overall player, No. 7 pro-style passer, and No. 3 prospect in Maryland per the 247Sports Composite.
