Mark J. Rebilas-USA TODAY Sports It’s hard to pick nits with Ohio State’s 2017 recruiting class. Not only is it the top ranked class in the country, it could very well be one of the most selective and elite classes in recruiting history. If even half of the 2017 class performs as good as they’re projected to on paper, Ohio State will have another nucleus of a team that should compete for a national title again in the near future. The only possible drawback is that a small recruiting class size, plus Ohio State’s national approach this cycle, has left less room for the Buckeyes to pick up solid players from the state of Ohio.
