Meyer, Johnson, Coombs all talking to Ohio lineman

Cincinnati Moeller 2018 defensive tackle Aeneas Hawkins was a guest of the Buckeyes at the Ohio State spring game. He spent time talking with Urban Meyer and Buckeye assistants Larry Johnson and Kerry Coombs, and went home very impressed. It looks like Hawkins will be back next month for the Buckeyes’ big Friday Night Lights camp. “I think I’ll be going to Friday Night Lights,” Hawkins said. “I’m pretty sure I will.” What’s next for the Buckeyes? Hawkins also saw the Buckeyes at the Detroit Sound Mind Sound Body camp earlier this month. “I talked to coach Johnson and coach Meyer there,” Hawkins said. “I talk to Ohio State a lot.” The 6-foot-3 and 260-pound Hawkins has 11 scholarship offers including Notre Dame, Florida State, Florida, Tennessee, Kentucky, Pitt and Cincinnati. He has more in mind. “O-State, Michigan, Michigan State, Penn State, schools like that I think I can get offers from,” Hawkins said.
