Barrett, Beathard and Armstrong are Big Ten's top QBs entering 2016


By Chris Murray Posted on July 14, 2016 This Big Ten season won’t feature quarterbacks with big NFL arms, such as former Michigan State star Connor Cook, Penn State’s Christian Hackenberg, or a stat-sheet stuffer like former Indiana Hoosier Nate Sudfeld. This season, the best quarterbacks in the Big Ten will be dual-threat artists. While battles for starting quarterback slots remain at Indiana, Wisconsin and Michigan, there are three quarterbacks to watch in the Big Ten this season. Ohio State’s J.T. Barrett, Iowa’s C.J. Beathard, and Nebraska’s Tommy Armstrong are the top three returning quarterbacks with a significant amount of experience.
