Ohio State Football: Who replaces Darron Lee?

Ohio State football always has playmakers on defense.  In the Big Ten, it is essential to have a stout front seven.  One of the most heated position battles this year is at walkout linebacker.  This is a crucial position in the Bucks defense. The last two seasons it was occupied by New York Jet Darron Lee.  Lee was a stud and was seen making plays all over the field.  A player of his caliber can’t be replaced over night.  That role is going to be fulfilled by either junior Chris Worley or sophomore Jerome Baker. The wily vet Ohio State Buckeyes linebacker Chris Worley plays with sound fundamentals, and is a veteran in the current defensive system. Mandatory Credit: Greg Bartram-USA TODAY Sports Third-year linebacker Chris Worley is a safe bet for the coaching staff.  He originally was starting over Lee two years ago, but got beat out.  The rest was history as Lee eventually became a first round pick.  Worley has been in this defensive scheme for a while now, and he has proven himself in the locker room.  Nobody would have a problem with head coach Urban Meyer going in that direction.  The walkout linebacker position has a plethora of responsibilities.…
