Ohio State fans pose with Nick Saban's statue in way only Buckeyes can

But what’s a group of Buckeyes fans supposed to do when the opportunity to pose with the likeness of the Alabama football coach? Spell out Ohio with Saban as the “I”,” of course. “It was a spontaneous thing,” Adam Heldman told AL.com of the picture he posted to Twitter on Saturday. “We were walking around the stadium. We saw the statue and said why not.” #TrollTide @11W pic.twitter.com/3WFHOKADBh — Adam Heldman (@awheldman) July 16, 2016 Heldman, a resident of Cincinnati and a 2010 graduate of Ohio State, traveled to Birmingham to visit a friend. They took the opportunity to make the short drive to Tuscaloosa. He said the reaction from both fan bases has been positive.  “Some (Ohio State) people didn’t know Nick Saban had a statue erected already,” he said. “That was the big topic. There were your standard jokes about the statue.” As for the Alabama fans? “I got one or two tweets saying it was funny and said they hoped we had a good time in Alabama,” Heldman said.
