Chase Young committed to Ohio State Friday, as the 5-star defensive end became the Buckeyes’ 15th commit in the 2017 class. If you didn’t know, Urban Meyer is better than most at this crazy game called college football recruiting.The Buckeyes landed their 15th pledge of the 2017 class Friday when 5-star prospect Chase Young committed to Ohio State during its Friday Night Lights recruiting camp.Ranked as the No. 3 defensive end and No. 28 overall player in the nation, Young is the fourth 5-star recruit to choose the Buckeyes in the cycle. He joins 5-star quarterback Tate Martell, 5-star offensive guard Wyatt Davis and 5-star offensive tackle Josh Myers.The addition of Young is one more step toward Ohio State’s 2017 class being historic. Along with him, the Buckeyes also hosted a number of other big-time recruits at their FNL recruiting camp. Five-star wide receiver Trevon Grimes, 5-star cornerback Darnay Holmes and 4-star wide receiver Tyjon Lindsey were among them.Ohio State now has 3,312 recruiting points in the class.
