League media picks Ohio State to win the Big Ten in 2016

The days of the Big Ten publishing a preseason poll are long gone. So, for the past five years, the league’s media members have done it instead. Cleveland.com published its annual Big Ten preseason football poll Friday, collecting votes from 39 media members who cover the league. And for the second straight year, Ohio State was picked to win the conference championship. The Buckeyes received 25 votes to win the Big Ten East outright and 27 votes to win the Big Ten title. Michigan received eight votes to win the Big Ten East outright and 11 votes to win the Big Ten title. One voter picked Ohio State, Michigan and Michigan State to tie for the Big Ten title. The Spartans did not receive any Big Ten championship votes. Iowa was the overwhelming favorite to win the Big Ten West. Here’s how it all broke down: Big Ten East predicted finish:1.
