First came the decision by current DeMatha defensive lineman Chase Young, a rising senior, to commit to Ohio State Friday night while visiting campus for the Buckeyes’ ‘Friday Night Lights’ recruiting event. Young had been considered an Ohio State lean and told reporters in Columbus his relationship with defensive line coach and local recruiting guru Larry Johnson and Coach Urban Meyer played a big role in his choice.
