Barrett, a reporter mentioned that Barrett had shrunk in the offseason, from 6-foot-2 to 6-1. “Guess those people really don’t like me that much,” Barrett joked of his own people at Ohio State. “Lord knows I need that inch.” A school official called it a typo that appeared only in the media guide. He insisted Barrett is a legitimate 6-2 and said the school is meticulous about updating heights and weights to keep credibility with pro scouts.
