The Buck stopped in Franklin on Friday. Following a strenuous offseason of being pursued by a slew of Division I suitors, Emory Jones closed a rigorous recruiting process by revealing his college decision on the eve of his junior campaign. Flanked by family, friends, teammates and his current head coach, the Heard County High School star signal-caller stylishly announced via video that he is headed to Ohio State University to join forces with Urban Meyer and the Buckeyes, picking the powerhouse Big Ten program over Tennessee, Georgia and Clemson, among others. “The first thing I want to say is, it’s just a great day to be a Buckeye,” Jones said. “It’s just an exciting feeling because it’s been my dream school since I was young.
