It comes at no surprise, the top team is the Buckeyes. To determine the all-time Top 25, the AP used the following metrics: Poll appearances (1 point) No 1. rankings (1 point) AP championships (10 points) Ohio State appeared in 852 of those Top 25 polls, good for 77.24 percent. During that span, the Buckeyes earned the top spot 105 times with five championships. According to the AP, there were only three seasons Ohio State were not ranked at least once, the fewest in the nation. You can view a full list on the Associated Press website.
