Tyjon Lindsey Commits To Ohio State Buckeyes

Four-star wide receiver Tyjon Lindsey committed to Ohio State on Monday, as the Buckeyes again have the No. 1 overall recruiting class in the 2017 cycle. It was suspected for a while, but now it’s official.Four-star prospect Tyjon Lindsey has committed to Ohio State in a joint video with 5-star recruit Trevon Grimes.Ranked as the No. 5 receiver and No. 37 overall player in the 2017 class, Lindsey is the teammate of 5-star prospect Tate Martell at Bishop Gorman High School. Martell, the nation’s No. 2 quarterback and No. 26 overall player, has been committed to Ohio State since June 12.Lindsey chose the Buckeyes over Alabama, Auburn and Georgia. He also holds additional offers from Arizona, Michigan, Nebraska, Notre Dame, Oklahoma, Oregon, UCLA, USC and others.Along with Grimes, Lindsey attended Ohio State’s Friday Night Lights recruiting camp on July 22.The two receivers both bring elite skill sets with them to Columbus. While Grimes is the 6-foot-4, 202-pound red zone target capable of stretching the field vertically, Lindsey brings an ability to make plays over the middle and after the catch. The 5-foot-8, 165-pound playmaker needs to add some size, but that will come once he gets on campus and in a collegiate conditioning…
