Ohio State's Greg Schiano Cited For Misdemeanor In Bicyclist Accident


Ohio State football/Instagram Ohio State’s Greg Schiano has been cited for a misdemeanor. Ohio State defensive coordinator Greg Schiano has received a misdemeanor charge for hitting a bicyclist on the Buckeyes’ campus last week, according to the Columbus Dispatch.  Schiano, in his first year at Ohio State, was in a car accident on OSU’s campus last week during which a bicyclist was injured and hospitalized. Schiano emerged from the accident OK. From The Dispatch: The crash occurred at the intersection of Lane Avenue and Fred Taylor Drive around 6:30 a.m. The 26-year-old male bicyclist, whose name has not been released, was transported to a hospital with a head injury. There has been no update on his condition. Court records show arraignment has been set for Oct. 5 for Schiano who faces a $55 fine and $97 in court costs.
